Radio At War will bring you both fiction and non-fiction stories from the second world war and beyond. With at least one episode per week, we’ll explore the lives of the men and women who became known as the greatest generation through news reports and the radio dramas that told their stories.

This time around we’ll hear an episode of Escape that first aired in August of 1953. It takes the listener on a commando raid to destroy a secret Nazi airfield in North Africa.
